A refundable security hold on the renter’s card
Bookings with private owners include a hold that is placed 24 hours before the rental. Approved rental businesses can switch it off or manage their own deposit. You hand the item over once the hold is confirmed, and it is released after a clean return. If damage is confirmed, the hold can be used, following Rentzy’s dispute review. How the hold works

Meet the renter, document the item’s condition, and confirm the return. Your earnings are paid out to your account through Stripe once the rental completes.
To accept bookings you first set up a payout account with Stripe. Rentzy charges owners a commission that is deducted from the payout. The rate and the exceptions are on Fees and pricing, and the legal wording is in the Terms of Service.

Rental businesses
Apply for a verified storefront
Businesses can apply for Rental Business status in the Rentzy app. Rentzy reviews each application. Approved businesses get a Verified Rental Business badge and a public business page with their logo, description, hours, and full catalog.
Rentzy Business is a dedicated app for approved businesses on iOS and Android. It is not in the stores yet, so for now businesses work in the Rentzy iPhone app.
